Nestled along the coast of the Adriatic Sea, Montenegro is often an overshadowed travel destination, but this may just be your favorite stop. Montenegro's natural beauty will leave you awed, but what will really make this trip one to remember is your native guide, who has a true passion for sharing the secrets of her homeland.

After docking in Bar, we'll begin with a scenic drive along the coast en route to one of Montenegro's most picturesque national parks, Lake Skadarsko. As we weave through sprawling hills, you may notice a glimpse of our final destination in the distance, but before our arrival, we will stop for a short walking tour of Virpazar.
After a meet-and-greet with your captain in the traditional village of Virpazar, we will set sail on a scenic boat ride on the largest lake in all of the Balkan peninsula. Cool off in the lake if you wish--the water is refreshing. From past to present, the history of Montenegro is deeply embedded in the land. Notice historical remains throughout the lake that are situated among unspoiled wildlife. It is impossible to not be inspired!
Before we return, enjoy a traditional Montenegrin-style picnic lunch complete with homemade fritters with honey, fish, salad, and grapa, a wine as rich as it is delicious.
