Overview

Hang above the Tushi River!

The primary difference between this tour and our other programs involving the White Pass Summit is the time built in to cross the suspension bridge. Look down!

It's no coincidence the White Pass Summit constantly gets referenced every time you look at excursion options in Skagway. It isn't for a lack of creativity, this area truly provides the best views near Skagway. After meeting your guide near the pier you will board a comfortable vehicle and start your climb towards the Chilkoot Mountains. The dramatic scenery will soon begin to surround you as everywhere you look showcases impressive peaks, sky-blue lakes and thick forests. The slow pace of your tour will provide ample opportunities to soak it all in.

Past the summit you will visit the Yukon Suspension Bridge for a chance to get on your feet and walk above the turbulent waters of the Tutshi River. Stunning views will leave you captivated as you learn about the Gold Rush themed history of the area and the discoveries that came along with it.

- Admission to cross the suspension bridge is included in the price.

- This tour takes a maximum of 12 passengers.
- Since this excursion enters Canada, all citizens MUST carry a valid passport. The only exception to this requirement is for U.S. citizens under the age of 16 (or under 19, if traveling with a school, religious, or other youth group) who need only present a birth certificate. If you plan to travel to Canada with a minor who is not your own child or for whom you do not have full legal custody, you may be required to present a notarized affidavit of consent from the minor’s parents. It should include dates of travel, parents’ names, and photocopies of their state-issued IDs. Some nationalities may require a Canada and/or USA Visa. Single Entry Visas are acceptable. Please bring all original documentation, no copies are allowed.
