Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   My partner took me there for high and the food was lovely. The staff were friendly and quick with the service. One of my plates had a bit of food scrap on it but the staff were quick to replace it. But overall its a nice place to go

Review:   Nothing to fault This is what 5 star accommodation is supposed to be but rarely is in Australia The staff are fantastic The rooms are spacious, light and airy with an art Deco feel but without being aged. The bathroom is fabulous and the shower one of the best in any hotel I've stayed in Coffee machine in the room, free wifi and complimentary water. The location is a little away from the norm but as a result you get peace and quiet and a feel of staying amongst the locals It's a little more expensive than the competition but you get so much more for that small amount of money. Highly recommended

Review:   High tea was average at best. Good selection of teas, ambience and locale was all amazing. However the sweets and savouries could have been better for a 5 star hotel. They were just average at best. Gunners barrack & Boronia house offer better food. Overall, Wouldn't go back for high tea, but the pool and salon was A+ experience.

Review:   Was the perfect stay. We had our 12 week old son with us and they provided a travel cot, nappies, bottle and wipes. Will definitely stay again
