Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Sometimes, you just want a hotel to be a hotel. The Sofitel works; the staff are lovely and helpful, the rooms are clean, the gym is great. The location is almost unparalleled. But, above all, the breakfast service was brilliant. We easily brought extra family to join us and there was no problems with them eating with us. Looking forward to going back!

Review:   We always encounter a friendly smile and "welcome" at Reception and after this easy check in process, we enjoyed our very well appointed and comfortable room. The lounge was well stocked and we relaxed with a drink and light snack, had a walk in the nearby Royal Botanical Gardens and then just "chilled" for the rest of the evening. After an excellent sleep and hearty breakfast, again served by attentive, cheerful wait staff we were well set up for the day of travel ahead as we returned home to Queensland. When we are next in Sydney, we will be back to this hotel. The perfect stay!

Review:   We only stayed one night, but felt really well taken care of. We had a lot of luggage as we were travelling the next day to move interstate. When we arrived Charlie was really helpful at unloading the bags, our room was not yet allocated but I explained that we needed access quite quickly as we needed to head out to event. We were processed quickly in the club lounge and by the time we got to our room Charlie was waiting with our bags. Fantastic service! It was a pleasure to stay and we will be back.

Review:   We stayed at the Sofitel Wentworth 4 years ago for our wedding anniversary and enjoyed it so much that we came back again this year to celebrate there. The staff are very warm and welcoming and go out of their way to make us feel special. The concierge even had water bottles waiting for us after we went for our morning walk! Club Sofitel is fabulous with delicious food, drinks and service. We would again highly recommend the Sofitel Wentworth for a luxurious stay in a great location in Sydney.

Review:   Everything went smoothly. Our room service man was exceptional (sorry forgot his name) with the extra touches. Lovely food at afternoon tea and canapés. Breakfast was very hectic on Sunday. People were having to ask several times for coffee. Staff were trying hard though, maybe more Staff should be available. Really enjoyed the piano lady on Sat night, lots of fun and audience participation.
