Overview

Located on the southern border of the Lake Manyara National Park, Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is easily accessed by way of two scheduled flights from Arusha Airport to the Manyara airstrip twice daily. A scenic 2 ½ hour chauffeured game drive through the Lake Manyara National Park will be enjoyed en route to the Lake Manyara Tree Lodge.

Typical Day at the Lake Manyara Tree Lodge

As day breaks, a gentle tap on your door awakens you to a spectacular day full of promise as you begin to anticipate the exhilarating game drive in a 4x4 safari vehicle awaiting your arrival. Enjoy a cup of steaming hot tea or coffee and a nibble on a freshly made biscuit or rusk as you contemplate the day's wilderness adventures.

Upon your return to Lake Manyara Tree Lodge from a unique and thrilling game drive, fresh fruit platters and cheese awaits you, tempting your taste buds. Enjoy a mouth watering spread of hot dishes for breakfast before taking advantage of the intimately tranquil surroundings of your suite or the lodge facilities. A delicious lunch will be served in the interactive kitchen soon thereafter.

Indulge in a siesta or a refreshing dip in the lodge pool before delectable treats are served for afternoon tea. Your guide will be on hand to discuss all that you hope to see on your next adventurous game drive. During the course of your game drive, a scenic spot will be chosen for a short sundowner as the day's hues sink beneath the horizon. Return to the lodge for a scrumptious dinner served in the romantically lamplit boma.
