Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Went to Thyme2. Not that great to be honest. The variety is very limited and the food not that exciting. Dessert section particularly disappointing. It's such a shame because the last time I went maybe 10 years ago it was exceptional. Things have REALLY gone downhill. Oh, and if you're having a special occasion they will commemorate it by taking chocolates FROM the buffet table and putting them in a box as a gift. Idk. It really isn't special anymore. DEFINITELY not worth $80 a head and $20 for parking. Save yourself the effort, go get a 3 course meal somewhere else.

Review:   A good selection of excellent food at Thyme2. We walked in and were treated excellently. Staff were kind and courteous and the setting was very regal. Overall a good place for a business lunch or a special occasion.

Review:   Nice hotel very cozy. But one thing which you should not miss about this hotel is there seafood buffet dinner in there restaurant at the ground floor. This hotel is located right above the railway station and is very convenient.

Review:   I don't usually do bad reviews but today is an exception. We got into reception and were waiting to be seen to but the reception desk was unattended for a good 5 minutes during which time we were completely ignored by all staff. Once we got our room keys we were told the incorrect floor which had us going up and down the lift trying to figure it out for ourselves. We tried using the phone outside the lift but no one picked up. Ended up having to go back down to reception for the correct floor. It would be helpful to have room numbers and their floors listed in the lift. Finally get to our room and find the lighting is attrocious. One good light would be better than lamps around the room.
