Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   We stayed here overnight as we had a very early flight out of Christchurch. It was the right choice to make! The room was clean and comfortable, the food from the restaurant was fantastic and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and the requests we made for assistance with disability aids were met very quickly and with a minimum of fuss. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Review:   Amazing and outstanding service. we stayed in the sir Edmund Hilary suite and it was breathe taking. a very special treat for me and my partner and we were very overwhelmed with the attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the staff. The room had a number of very special iconic things from Sir Ed that give the room a unique touch. Breakfast was delicious and again the staff were so friendly and helpful! The outside scenery was so beautiful and had a really nice kiwi feel with all the fern trees. Best place in Christchurch I highly reccomend 5stars!!! We will be back!
