Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Great hotel with good facilities. The staff are very polite and professional. The breakfasts are excellent and there is a lot to choose from. The rooms are large and very comfortable especially since they have very good air conditioning and good, hot showers. It’s always great to find a place with good showers on a long trip. The only downside to the facilities is that the swimming pool is very small and the gym too. The location is great though as is only a few minutes from the coast, ferry terminal and bars and restaurants. Though Auckland is very small it’s a very good spot. I’d stay again.

Review:   Would give it 5 stars but it can be a bit pricey. Enjoyed the pool, gym and spa pool. Staff were nice. Room was nice and a good size. Location is handy walking distance to Auckland nightlife and the Auckland ferry, train and bus hub (Britomart). Also walking distance to the harbour waterfront, sky city casino and shopping on Queen st.

Review:   Nice rooms. Breakfast buffet needs work. Serves the same thing everyday and doesn't have options for those with dietary restrictions. Food selection and prices are poor. Nice place to stay that's about it. Go out and eat elsewhere in the neighborhood.

Review:   Good ambience! Pretty good service and good food. The buffet laid out was sufficient but should have been more organized so there would not be queuing for food. Also the finger food should have been served table wise in a more organized manner.

Review:   Up to date hotel located in walking distance to the waterfront. Nice lobby bar. Rooms are clean and modern and a good size for a hotel within the CBD.
