Review:   Recommended for: Couples on a budget

Pros: Melia is located in my favorite part of Nassau, Cable Beach. The Level Privilege Program at Melia has you feeling like Royalty as they will cater to your every need.

Cons: This resort is not at the level of Sandals, but is nice for those looking for a moderate resort that fits in their budget.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   I loved this resort so much!! My sister and I just went there last week, we stayed for 5 days and had the time of our lives. ALL staff were extremely nice, we felt comfortable everywhere we went. I saw some reviews about the food not being good, or it was always the same thing, but both my sister and I loved the food and thought the variety was great. The buffet area for breakfast, lunch & dinner was good. Our view was amazing, we had the ocean view, which i recommend that! I have no bad reviews about this resort, we will definitely be coming back. Thank you so much for such a great experience!!! :)

Review:   Honestly, I think a lot of these reviews are fake or people never been to a nice resort. This hotel was awful. First thing I noticed was that the building was in bad shape. Everything is outdated. The front desk clerks are cold and borderline rude, so is 90% of the staff. The room was crappy and outdated with a weird toilet. The “ocean view” rooms has a partial ocean view. The bars are understaffed and the drinks are inconsistent. The hot tube did not work. The best part was the beach.

Review:   Great oceanview room. Food was great. Even though while we were eating at Aqua the power went out on the entire island and took a long time to get power back. The restaurant staff were very accommodating to make sure we were comfortable. Special shout out to our server Denver who was very professional and entertaining. Definitely recommend this place.

Review:   I stayed 7 days in May. I loved this place. The rooms were clean and bright, ocean views and fairly nice views of the pools and grounds. The meals were excellent. Even the Market Place, buffet. Staff for most part friendly and very professional. The beach was amazing with lots of equipment to snorkel, float, paddle board. Activities and special events were great. Only negatives. Hot tub not working, some days fridge not stocked with drinks or snacks although you could call. Well stocked with water, towels thanks to great Housekeeping staff. Some bartenders were rude and but most were very entertaining. Ability to book tours was easy. The worst was making diner reservations, a long process, you could only book 2 days at a time. You had to wait in line and often the restaurants were filled.

Review:   First time visiting The Bahamas & staying at the Meliá Nassau. Hotel is in a great location close to the airport and right next to the beach ( we could see it from our room). The room was good not too much variety. Didn’t get a chance to visit any of the restaurants because we were only there for 4 days ( when i tried to make reservations on day 2 everything was booked for the next 2 days). Nightly entertainment wasn’t very entertaining. The worst part is the staff. Everyone seems unhappy and not friendly at all, if you don’t speak to them first forget getting something as simple as a hello. Loved the island. Defenetly Will be back but not staying at the Meliá Nassau.
