Whether it be for one night or an extended stay, every guest needs a home away from home. Heritage Auckland provides that and much more. Set within one of the city's most recognisable historic landmark buildings, the iconic Farmers department store building, it’s an Auckland hotel accommodation experience without peer.
We offer a range of accommodation options to suit every need and budget. Choose from two accommodation wings, the Hotel or Tower. Both offer everything you need to feel at home during your stay, and provide a level of comfort that sets it apart from other Auckland hotels.

At the end of the day, we all need to unwind, and the hotel features an outdoor rooftop swimming pool, gym and a floodlit tennis court with racquets and balls available for hire.
Feeling hungry? Hectors Restaurant is charmingly positioned under a canopy of palms, in the dramatic seven-storey atrium, and offers a delicious menu that highlights local produce.
Heritage Auckland are pleased to announce that for the added comfort of all guests, and in line with current market expectations, the hotel has been entirely smoke free since 2012.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   This is a great hotel. With well appointed rooms and great facilities. I particularly like the gym and roof top pool. The restaurant has one of th best vegetarian continental breakfast buffets I've seen. The bar is a great place to stop off for a scotch to end the night on too

Review:   Rooms were simple but nice, though the room configuration was not as requested so required house keeping to remake the room, tv remote batteries were flat, and after a night out our cards had stopped working so required another visit to reception to get reissued. All up fairly minor problems. Staff were very friendly and the beds and pillows very comfortable.

Review:   Not modern. Room is bit damp. Hot water is not coming. Bathtub is very old. Food is not tasty. Hospitality is good though but not satisfied with the room condition and food.
