Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   We finished up our New Zealand vacation at Eichardt's and that was the perfect way to end. Since its location is second to none in Queenstown we could leave the car in their parking lot (parking can be a little tough to find) and walk to pretty much anything we wanted to see. Though Eichardt's has other nearby properties available, we stayed in the five-room main building. Incredible, with a staff as good as we've seen anywhere in the world. Beautiful lobby and hallway furniture, a gorgeous parlor and wall and lighting decorations that will stop you in your tracks. We were in room number three. If we had been to Queenstown before it would have been tough to leave the room. Thick featherbed, gas fireplace, two vanity areas in the bathroom, and a view out the windows directly onto the beach and bay. The small breakfast/tapas/drinks area was cozy and right off the lobby. If you want an exceptional meal Eichardt's sister hotel No. 5 Church Lane has excellent food and is a four minute walk away. All hotel guests get priority reservations at all properties. For all the amenities, location and staff you expect to pay a pretty penny, but for our farewell splurge it was worth it.

Review:   Cocoon place, nice and beautiful environment with an amazing view on the Lake. Best time to get there would be around sunset time. As the tapas are delicious and the sky become a show by itself.

Review:   Super central to all bars and restaurants. Amazing cocktail bar and exceptional service. Enjoy the sunset from your hotel room or lounge area.
