This enriching tour will start with a tour of the Royal Palace, which is situated atop a hill near to where the Omeya Arabs built the ancient fortress of Madrid. This magnificent royal residence is a wonderful example of the finest Italian Architectural Style of the 18th century. Its decoration is a prime example of the different fashions in decorative types during the periods of the first 7 Spanish Bourbon Kings. You will be overwhelmed by the Palace's decorative masterpieces, including the priceless furniture, extraordinary clocks, splendid fresco paintings, sculptures, and tapestries, and astonishing porcelain room and stucco chamber. And this is not all. The grandeur of the Royal Armory will amaze you as well, as Emperor Charles V and King Phillip II had a supreme influence over the History of Arts during their reign. After such a rich artistic "immersion", you will enjoy an urban, as you explore the enchanting city of Madrid. After a tour of Old Madrid you will find yourself immersed in the masterpieces in the grand Prado Museum. Housed in the Prado are excellent examples of paintings created between the 15th and 17th century.
