This day of adventure begins by climbing into your rugged Jeep Renegade to explore the island's defining feature, Mount Pantokrator. Your driver, who is also your guide, will handle the details so you can focus on your splendid surroundings.
As you journey through huge ancient olive groves dating from Venetian times and quaint hidden villages, your friendly, knowledgeable guide will relate the history and culture of this lovely island. Continuing up, up, up, you'll reach the summit of Mount Pantokrator with panoramic vistas of mysterious Albania, the Greek mainland, and Corfu Town. Stop to visit the small, beautiful, well-preserved monastery. It is a must-see.
Venturing on through central Corfu, you'll head to the island's west coast, known for its picture-postcard beaches. A scenic road brings you to ‘the most beautiful view of Europe’ where your ice-cream break will be enjoyed looking over Paleokastritsa Beach and ‘the Rock of Odyssey’, considered by locals to be the mythical petrified ship of Odysseus.
For an authentic Greek experience, you'll stop at a kafeneion (coffee house) in a traditional village for a snack before being returned to your ship.
