Il La Corte Dei Papi Relais is an ancient country house dated back to 1700 where ancient traditions and luxury gather together to offer our guests a wonderful experience of relax and wellness. Wonderful suites for wellness, an excellent restaurant and a warm and genuine hospitality will make your stay unforgettable.
The country house is owned by Papi family, passed down from generation to generation, and currently restored by David and his mother Gabriella with love and respect of the ancient structure, preferring the restoring of the original elements, and preserving the history and its origin unchanged. David and Gabriella dream's was to transform their house, rich of history and memories, in a romantic luxury hotel, where guests can feel like being at home, and are cuddled in any moment during their stay. The country house is surrounded by a wide park, rich in flowers, olive trees and pines, and in its centre hosts a wonderful swimming pool and the striking restaurant, from which you can appreciate the beauty and the quiet if our valleys.
The attention to the past roots, to any detail, the valorisation of the typicality and the beauty of each room, "Luxury” and “Wellness” were the protagonists for the restoration and the furniture of the country house. This XVIII century country house was completely restored gathering the past witness and the present needs, with a particular attention to your body wellness: the respect for the existing structure, the sensitiveness in using traditional materials, the recovery of the decorations and of the original elements give the interior an everlasting charm. The fifteen rooms are characterized by precious and quality furniture: artisan curtains and sheets, antique furniture are placed in areas provided with any comfort. Il La Corte dei Papi Relais is an oasis of peace and complete relax immersed in the silence, glad to offer a custom service, taking care of your privacy and your body wellness, to make your dreams come true.
The restaurant is in the old cellar of the country house. A romantic area, characterized by stone walls, timber roof and terracotta floor. The menu offers a wide selection of Tuscany specialties, together with modern and elaborate proposals. The chef and his staff personally prepare all the dishes, including bread, pasta and desserts, as well as the products of the breakfast, such as cakes, home-made pies and fruit marmalades. Each recipe is exalted by the quality and freshness of its ingredients, by the elegant presentation of the plate and by the accurate service. In summertime, the restaurant is moved near the swimming pool, surrounded by a wide park, full of flowers and pines, from which you can enjoy the quiet and the magic atmosphere of the Tuscany countryside. In our wine cellar we have about 700 labels of the best wines from many regions of Italy, with a particular preference for the red wine of our Tuscany: Sassicaia, Ornellaia, Masseto, Solaia and Tignanello are just some of the famous names we propose.
