Tranquil and romantic resort for Adults only on Aruba's Eagle Beach. Beachfront Elements Restaurant offers organic, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free menus and World Cuisine.
Overview
Aruba’s only boutique resort that caters exclusively to adults, the 104-room Bucuti & Tara Beach Resorts is situated on 14 palm-studded acres along Eagle Beach. Nestled on the widest, most secluded section of beach, this European-inspired resort is designed to provide couples with an unrivaled tranquil experience in a romantic atmosphere.
The Bucuti Wing has 63 rooms including 48 superior guest rooms, 10 deluxe guest rooms, three bungalows and two junior suites. The five-story building housing Tara Suites features 36 ocean view suites, four penthouse suites and one deluxe room. All rooms and suites feature a sophisticated and comfortable interior design.
All rooms and suites have a microwave, mini bar, in-room safe, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, large balcony or terrace, cable television, WiFi, locally made Aruba Aloe toiletries, coffee maker, air conditioning, ceiling fan, direct dial phones and king or queen sized beds. Additionally each room is equipped with dehumidifiers and air-purifiers with HEPA filters to keep the air clean, free or allergens and odor-free.
Guests will enjoy dining at one of three on-site dining options. Bucuti’s most recent addition, Elements, is Aruba’s first and only restaurant that affords guests the opportunity to enjoy natural and organic dining in the presence of breathtaking views. Whether dining on the newly-constructed oceanfront deck or enjoying beautiful Eagle Beach indoors via the floor-to ceiling windows, Elements is an ideal complement to the serene environment for which Bucuti has become known. The new culinary offering’s ambiance and menu serve as an extension of Bucuti’s mission to provide guests with a total sense of wellness by showcasing the beauty of Aruba’s natural environment with the quality of carefully sourced ingredients. Wholesome menu options feature genuine, certified organic options and natural products offered through three distinct menus: world cuisine, organic and natural, and vegan and vegetarian.
A complimentary American buffet breakfast is also served daily on the beachfront deck. Guests seeking a more casual atmosphere can enjoy the recently renovated SandBar. The modern outdoor lounge area is exclusively open to Bucuti guests and provides a relaxing spot to enjoy a cocktail and stargaze or take in the sunset. SandBar also offers lunch service featuring a combination of classic favorites and island flavors.
Also new to Bucuti is the resort’s partnership with the top-rated, Carte Blanche restaurant. Praised by locals and visitors alike, Carte Blanche offers diners a unique culinary experience based around a chef’s table concept. The focal point of the restaurant is Chef Dennis van Daatselaar preparing a five-course "chef surprise" meal before the diner’s eyes. Fine wines and premium drinks are paired with the meal, expertly selected and presented by the charming Maitre d’ Glen Bonset. Evenings at Carte Blanche are an event filled with laughter, conversation and exquisite flavors.
Situated on world-famous Eagle Beach, in the low rise district between the airport and Palm Beach, Bucuti is nearby all major attractions including world-class shopping, a variety of restaurants, the Divi Links nine-hole golf course and Arikok National Park.
Bucuti has been a leader in promoting sustainable tourism in the Caribbean for more than 20 years. In addition to incorporating the highest level of eco-friendly practices into daily operations, owner Ewald Biemans spearheads a number of widely-recognized environmental initiatives and is committed to educating guests and the local community on the importance of conservation. Bucuti also has a number of green certifications including ISO 14001, Green Globe 21 and Travelife Gold.
Bucuti includes all taxes and fees as well as a number of additional benefits in the room rate including a full American breakfast buffet daily, local calls, Wi-Fi throughout the entire property and complimentary use of an iPad (with Skype installed) in the privacy of each guestroom.
