Pelican Eyes Resort & Spa is located in a mountain overlooking the bay in the charming fishing village of San Juan del Sur, on the stunning Pacific Coast of Nicaragua. Pelican Eyes offers a distinctive blend of gracious hospitality, local charm, unique architectural style and commitment to the community, all in a unique setting that blends harmoniously with the natural environment and local culture. It is the perfect setting for families and couples looking for an exceptional experience.
Pelican Eyes Resort & Spa is divided in two phases connected by harmonious red brick stair trails or an external road accessed by vehicle. It has 62 accommodation units with ocean and garden view divided in 2 bedroom Casas with one or two baths that fix perfect for families of 4 to 6 people, 1 bedroom townhouses, efficiency studios ideal for honeymooners and standard hotel rooms in combinations of 2 queen beds or 1 King bed.
Additionally, the resort has three infinity pools, two restaurants offering national and international cuisine, a 41 feet sailboat with capacity for up to 20 people, spa services at Tranquila Day Spa, a conference room for small or medium corporate groups, a perfect setting for destination weddings and offers honeymoons. Ask to Front Desk for local and regional excursion and activities such as surf lesson, horseback riding, guided trips to Granada, Masaya and Ometepe, zip lining, and much more. All attractions located in one same place.
Pelican Eyes Resort & Spa is a walking property with MANY stairs, and may not be suitable for all guests. If you require special consideration due to physical limitations or health considerations, please feel free to consult our reception staff. Also, we offer Sailing Trips and Spa services.
A visit to our Casa Tranquila spa is an experience of sheer indulgence. We offer a menu of massage and body treatments to ensure that you truly relax on your romantic Nicaraguan getaway. Experience more of Nicaragua with day trips to Granada or the artisan markets in Masaya. Here at the resort, open air yoga classes, water aerobics, and active local excursions (arranged by our concierge) help keep you fit while visiting paradise. Even our brick stairs—winding up the hillside — contribute to the cause!
