Originally opened in 1986 and expanded in 1991, Le Guanahani has established itself as a haven of casual luxury, comfort and elegance. An authentic reflection of St. Barth, the hotel has evolved into the island's finest destination for active travelers, providing an unsurpassed array of leisure activities. In 2004, Le Guanahani added an indulgent Spa by Clarins, and it has continued to refine the guest experience through a series of extensive and thoughtful interior design updates over the past few years.

St. Barth's most irresistible private enclave, Le Guanahani is spread out over 18 secluded tropical acres on its own peninsula. Within this captivating landscape, 67 vibrantly hued guest cottages are scattered along garden paths that wind through lush bougainvillea, hibiscus and palms beside the sweeping beaches and reef-protected lagoon. The island's finest boutique hotel offers two pools, a restorative Spa by Clarins, a choice of two beaches, a full suite of water sports, two restaurants with al fresco settings, a fitness center, flood-lit tennis courts, and engaging children's programs.

Spread throughout its lush tropical landscape, Le Guanahani offers 30 rooms, 27 suites and 10 unique signature suites. All accommodations offer a private terrace, ceiling fans, air-conditioning, in-room safe, telephone, stocked mini-bar, LCD flat-screen TV, iPod dock, Video On Demand, high-speed wireless Internet access and bathroom with honey-tumbled tile shower and Clarins amenities.

Le Guanahani presents 30 charming rooms tucked away in colorful cottages—in vibrant tropical hues of turquoise, yellow and lavender—throughout the property. Blending a fresh Caribbean style with colonial influences, the cottages located in the Marigot Bay section offer ocean views and bold, Creole contemporary interiors. The remaining cottages dot the lush gardens or rest on the hillside looking out to Grand Cul-de-Sac and have been crafted by designer Luis Pons of D-Lab in a timeless and graceful Explorer-Style.

Le Guanahani's three junior suites and 24 one-bedroom suites offer privacy and spaciousness for all. Each features a sitting room or area, a terrace and a garden, and many also boast a large private pool. The suites are situated in colorful Caribbean cottages situated within the property's lush gardens or on the hillside looking out to Grand Cul-de-Sac. The interiors have also been crafted by designer Luis Pons in a timeless and graceful Explorer-Style.

Ten one-of-a-kind signature suites are located throughout the property. The collection offers an array of unique amenities as well as a choice of garden and ocean view settings and Creole or Explorer-Style interiors. The residentially styled two- and three-bedroom suites offer unmatched privacy and space, complete a sitting room, terrace and garden, and for select Signature Suites, a large private pool or Jacuzzi. For wellness enthusiasts, two of the signature accommodations, the Marigot Suite and Wellness Suite, provide guests with direct access to the hotel's Spa by Clarins.

Influenced by a wealth of French tradition and the exceptional culinary heritage of St. Barth itself, Le Guanahani presents refined, Mediterranean-inspired cuisine with unobtrusive service in two distinct al fresco settings—within the sultry gardens of Bartolomeo or poolside at Indigo with stunning views of the reef-protected bay.

Experience unforgettable relaxation and serenity at Le Guanahani's sophisticated Spa by Clarins. Nestled among the exotic tropical gardens and brightly colored Creole architecture of the hotel, the spa offers the ideal ambiance for indulging in luxurious spa treatments. Throughout the spa, water, teak, mahogany and lava stone evoke Nature's origins from which the very essence of rejuvenation is drawn.

The spa offers an array of amenities including an adults-only swimming pool, steam room, tea pavilion, private outdoor showers, relaxation areas and a spa boutique. The extensive menu of services and treatments offered at the spa is delivered by qualified specialists using the finest products from Clarins, a leading name in prestige skincare.

Located within the spa, the salon by Frédéric Fékkai offers professional cuts, styling and other haircare services for men and women. Come in to prepare for a big night out, enjoy a mid-vacation touch-up or schedule a blow-out after a massage.

Le Guanahani is located on the northeast side of Saint Barthélémy, also known as "St. Barth." Christopher Columbus named the island in tribute to his brother, Bartholomeo, during his second landing in November 1493. Today, the just over eight-square-mile island is home to almost 10,000 people. Le Guanahani is nestled between Marigot Bay and Grand Cul-de-Sac, only two miles from Gustaf III Airport.

The nearest international airports are on the neighboring islands of St. Maarten, Puerto Rico, and Antigua, which offer connecting flights with regional carriers to St. Barth such as Winair, St. Barth Commuter, and Tradewind Aviation. There are also several ferry services operating between St. Barth and St. Maarten. The St. Barth airport is Gustav Airport.
