Overview
Explore the beauty of Dominica's World Heritage site.
Fumaroles, freshwater lakes, hot springs, volcanoes, and breathtaking valleys. For a small island, Dominica certainly packs a punch with its biodiversity. So, as much as we like beaches, it would be a crime not to dive into the wilderness here. We won't arrest you, but the beauty might, as you make your way through the Roseau Valley, following your pickup at the pier.
While traveling through Morne Trois Pitons National Park, you will arrive at a trail head that leads to Dominica's highest body of water, Boeri Lake. This crater lake that reaches depths of 117 feet will be your final reward as you navigate the rain forest and soak in some of the best views in the park along the way. Kick back along the shore or even dare the abyss of the cold waters for a refreshing and well-deserved dip. Back at the trail head, a freshly packd lunch will be awaiting you.
It wouldn't be a proper adventure without a bit of an adrenaline rush, so it's on to Titou Gorge, where you will be outfitted with a life jacket for an upstream swim. A giant cascade of water will provide the perfect soundtrack as you kick your way through the "little throat" which provides access to a small waterfall and a chance to enjoy the cool H2O. By trail or water, this excursion covers all aspects of adventuring through the famous Roseau Valley.
