Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   This resort has everything you can think of. Many swimming pools, food buffet and other cultural restaurants; Italian, Japanese etc. It has a well equipped gym and spa. The rooms are just fantastic with water and drinks supplied each day. Each room has a good view to the ocean and a jacuzzi in the balcony. For those who wants to hold conferences, there are many conference room with translators kiosk. For sports men, there is a soccer park, long tennis, basketball, golf, swimming, etc I recommend you visit this resort either for business or holidays

Review:   Booked an ocean front suite. Got something pool facing. The bathroom is incorporated into the room so when you shower the room becomes wet and humid. As soon as you exit the toilet or the shower you are in the room. There are 2 sinks in the room. The staff are very rude at the premium concierge. I cannot imagine how rude they must be at the regular concierge. There are 3 restaurants available for breakfast lunch and dinner (one is premium only) but they all have the same food. Most of it is inedible. Everything is very obviously reheated and previously frozen. The restaurants smell like a combination of disgustingly sweet mosquito repellent and rotting meat. There are hundreds of bugs inside and all of the food at the buffets are left open with flies flying around. There are also 6 dinner-only, speciality restaurants available via a reservation. The reservations are impossible to make when you want them. Everything is booked at normal times. We booked our reservations the first day, and many of them were after 9PM, some as late as 11PM. Everything early is already taken. Don't expect to eat in one of these restaurants your first night. These specialty restaurants also serve variants of the same food you can get at the buffets so it's not like you'll be missing out. The only thing preventing us from checking out early and going home is the beautiful beach, provided it's clean (in the evening expect tons of smelly algae on the beach) and many many swimming pools.

Review:   Had so much fun here. Loved all of the restaurants. The staff were super friendly. Loved the beach as well as the pool area. Our maid was the biggest sweetheart. Pretty close to the airport and also fun places nearby. Lots of activities and excursions to go on in the area. I really enjoyed the outback safari. You get to do a various amount of things within a few hours.

Review:   The Palace has great service. The workers in the Game Center are very nice and welcoming. Jose Ramirez helped us find different things to do within the resort. Very funny, nice, and can dance well. Definitely puts on a show!

Review:   The resort is beautiful we were premium level Junior Suite oceanfront which was awesome! The view was gorgeous! There is a lot to do while at the resort!! The only downside is the food is not good...they burn everything they cook! No flavor at all. However, the specialty restaurants were better. The Mexican and Steakhouse were great! I enjoyed myself until the day before we left I had my necklace stolen from my room while we were on an excursion. It was not located before we left... it had an angel wing pendant on it and my daughter had the other one that matched. I was very upset! Luckily, she left hers at home! I took off a star due to the food and theft!
