About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   We’ve been here for our wedding 3 years ago and we came back this year! It’s a beautiful as always to stay here. The pool is nice and the staff are so friendly. There’s a bunch of places on the beach to look and just enjoy the beautiful scenery of Hawaii. We loved this place so much and we can’t wait to come back another time. Location is amazing as it’s close to a bunch of shops and grocery stores and restaurant.

Review:   Great resort if traveling in a group or with family. Loved the "Pavilions", a big cabana with couch and chairs and room for a couple chaise lounges which accommodated 8 of us and worked great. You also get half your rental fee back in drinks and appetizers. Hotel could use more options for food, but there are other options within walking distance. I recommend Lava Lava BC for an easy going but very good dinner. If looking for something fancy/memorable, Roy's was great and just across the street from hotel.

Review:   Newly renovated rooms provided a comfortable stay. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Great pools and easy access to the ocean. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants. This is my third stay at this hotel and I am always happy with the choice.

Review:   A nice resort on the Waikoloa Beach area. Within walking distance to the outlets/small mall and shopping center. Room was right by the pool and beach, so just had to walk out of our room and there we were. Prices at the restaurants were on the higher price side. The cafe upstairs in the lobby, took forever to make simple coffee. Its actually faster to go to the shopping center at Starbucks to grab a cup of coffee/latte. Room was nice, the hot tubs were ok, some jets weren't working.

Review:   The resort is beautiful and the staff for the most part were extremely helpful and friendly, except the bar staff at night. It took a long time to get drinks, when it wasn't very busy. Like 20 minutes from time of order to delivery for three beers. The one wouldn't even acknowledge us.The only other weird thing was the fury dishes that were outside our room from whoever was there before us, were still there when we left four days later. Other than that the stay was amazing. We found the great little bar across the way, I think our was called A-Bay. Same high prices for drinks, but great service with fun music.
