Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   The resort is beautiful and the staff for the most part were extremely helpful and friendly, except the bar staff at night. It took a long time to get drinks, when it wasn't very busy. Like 20 minutes from time of order to delivery for three beers. The one wouldn't even acknowledge us.The only other weird thing was the fury dishes that were outside our room from whoever was there before us, were still there when we left four days later. Other than that the stay was amazing. We found the great little bar across the way, I think our was called A-Bay. Same high prices for drinks, but great service with fun music.

Review:   I love the waterfall, hot tubs, and slides. The decorations and plantations are beautiful. There's even free rent to play a PlayStation 3 game for the night, assuming you rented a room. There used to be a thing where if you collect all of the colored wrist bands, you get a free ice cream. This place is also where a few Wheel of Fortune episodes were filmed. I would go back there anytime to reflect on those memories and besides parking, it's free to visit.

Review:   Spent a relaxing morning at the beach here. Beach wasn't too busy, with ample space to go around, including shady spots. Sand was soft and beach was well maintained, but watch out for buried rocks. The water was calm and appeared to be relatively clear (didn't have my snorkeling gear with me... :/), but my kids (ages 3 and 9) enjoyed it. Washroom facilities were also clean and well maintained.

Review:   I stayed here for 2 days in their ocean view room. The room is decent for the price. The cocktail I ordered from the poolside bar was junk and the service was not friendly. The primary reason for 1 star was that I smashed 2 small cockroaches in the room. I didn't tell my son because it would upset everyone. He spent good money to have us there to enjoy a vacation. It is just not acceptable.

Review:   We arrived late evening and were a little disappointed that we did not receive the normal welcome, but it was also reasonable considering the time. This was our second stay here, with the last one in 2014. We love the feel of the resort, and found everyone to be pleasant and attentive. Many nice amenities, and very much love the infinity pool to relax before closing out the night. There is much to do both at the resort, and at the beach, for any age. Once again, thanks for a pleasant stay, and special mention for Shaun O'Brien (not O'Connor) at the front door for you assistance in selecting tanning products. Mahalo!
