Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   The hotel was nicely redone. My only complaint was the rooms we designed for one person, at least the king rooms. Example, there is a window in the bathroom covered by a rice paper screen. It looks really nice until it is late at night and someone uses the bathroom... When you turn on the bathroom light, it lights up the the whole hotel room and shines directly in the bed because it shines through the screen.

Review:   I did the luau and was a bit disappointed. I've been before and for what I paid I didn't think it was worth the price. The show was good, but hard to see because the stage is too low. You have to pay for the lei, which I've always had provided at the others luaus. Drinks were decent. Pig was excellent! Not much variety in food, no appetizers, and for a buffet you could only go up twice.

Review:   Excellent resort. The transportation service could have been a little faster and the overall layout could have been designed faster. No free breakfast. And it is over priced at 30 dollars a person just for continental. Luckily dimond members do get free continental for two people. Beds are comfy and rooms are spacious. The pools are great! The lagoon is also nice but I would recommend driving to another beach for clearer waters. Hours are odd on restaurants nearby which close down early around 6 or 7 for most of them.

Review:   Pool area is great for kids. There's a sandy section for very little ones, and another section that was really good for our kid (pre school aged). Rooms are perfectly fine - everything is clean and well-supplied. I think the only improvement I would like is to have more than 1 load's worth of laundry detergent for cleaning clothes. There may be some in a store here, but I have yet to look. It's not a major complaint, but since I can come up with *some*thing to whine about, I'm giving it a 4 (I reserve 5 for unique special experiences).

Review:   Was there for sightseeing this time, but was there for an event the last time around. This place is great and huge! Shops, pools with sand, beach access.... maaaaan, that place was pretty big for a hotel. There are other hotels in the nearby vicinity that offer their own selection of goods, too. I wasn't an overnight guest, but staff was friendly and the place was very well-kept. Even if you don't plan on staying the night, check this place out for the views!
