1 Day Blue Mountains Tour - Adventure Tours Australia. Just a spacer

On this full day tour from Sydney you will experience the Three Sisters rock formation, take in spectacular lookouts, ride the historic Scenic Railway and do a 2-3 hour hike at Wentworth Falls. Stay longer with our accommodation options!

You may see wild Eastern Grey Kangaroos in native bushlands at our first stop and you'll be amazed at their size! A two hour walk through changing vegetation takes you into Wentworth Falls. After lunch (included), we walk down the historic Furber Stairs (all 860 of them!) into Jamison Valley through lush World Heritage rainforest. You will see the beautiful Katoomba Falls and the iconic rock formations of the 'Three Sisters'. From the bottom of the Jamison Valley, we jump aboard the Scenic Railway – the world's steepest railway (you'll find out why!) – and take a ride back up to the valley rim. Then relax as we cruise back into Sydney after an action packed day! (L)

Overview

Adventure Tours Australia was established in 1992 and has since positioned itself as one of Australia's leading tour and transport operators, with a reputation for excellence, innovation and reliability.

The company delivers a national portfolio of memorable cultural, nature based and way-of-life experiences, which combine adventure, comfort and quality with a budget price. The diversity of this portfolio has helped Adventure Tours Australia emerge strongly from one of the most difficult periods in Australia's tourism history.

The company operates through an Australia wide network of sales and marketing offices, with additional offices situated in the UK and Germany. With 8 operational bases and 230 staff Adventure Tours carry more than 100 000 international visitors each year, all administered through its Adelaide based head office.

The acquisition of the Sydney based Oz Experience brand in April 2005 and the Wayward Bus Touring Company in August 2006 added a new and vibrant dimension to Adventure Tours Australia's already formidable product offerings. The company now offers three truly national product alternatives, the Oz Experience branded flexible hop on hop off unstructured touring program, Wayward Bus for a more time-rich touring experience and the Adventure Tours Australia branded organised, all inclusive structured touring program.

For those looking for a personalised trip, the tailor-made touring department can organise private charters to suit the personal requirements of travellers.

The Company's resources include a modern purpose-built vehicle fleet, permanent campsites, access to exclusive accommodation and one hundred and sixty full-time professional tour guides with the option of multi-lingual guides for private groups.

Adventure Tours Australia's approach to continuous improvement has been influenced by awareness of rapid technological advances and feedback from customers. We have won many regional and national tourism awards which recognise our excellent product delivery and knowledgeable tour guides. We have a real-time on-line booking facility with API and white-labeling capability, and an efficient customer services department for our agent network. The company currently works with more than 1100 travel partners through 26 countries.
