The Viking Museum is also a must. Located by the fjord in Roskilde, a mere 35 minutes from Copenhagen, the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde offers a unique experience to adults and children alike. Feel the history when you are faced with five original Viking ships. The impressive ships reveal stories about war and raids on trade and travel to distant places, and about life at sea 1000 years ago.
Your English-speaking driver will take you on a drive to acclimate you. During your ride you will see the Little Mermaid, not to be missed. You will learn where Christiania is located so you can revisit that neighborhood later on in the day.
Your canal boat ride will not be private but enjoyable as you take this guided tour around the harbor and through the idyllic canals. After this experience, we will bring you to the most famous attraction here - Tivoli Gardens.
You may stay and play or move on to walk the comfortable city streets window shopping and people watching until you decide to return on your own to the cruise pier.
