Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Excellent location. Close enough to the night life activities but far enough away to avoid the excess noise. Rooms are clean and decently equipped. Staff are very helpful and accommodating. Was a good location for the family to stay as the local activities were easily arranged to suit everybody's tastes.

Review:   A solid hotel option only minutes walk from Queenstown city centre. The room was nice and tidy with comfy beds, though the small bathroom with dated shower/bath/curtain combo is pretty uncomfortable. Lake view is fine for though largely obscured by tree so not worth the extra. A courtyard view room would have been just as nice. Staff very friendly and attentive to requests. The proximity to town is its biggest asset, you can be at any of the many restaurants in town within minutes on food. Would stay again.

Review:   The Novotel at Queenstown is the ‘must stay’ venue’ in every respect; lodgings, hospitality and ambience. I have stayed more than once. From my experience of other Accor venues around the Globe, the Novotel Queenstown provides excellence in a very tight field.

Review:   Location is abit off the main strip but still close to shops etc. Room was nice with desk, chair and bed was nicely made with really soft clean sheets. But the coffee area bench top was so small. Coffee machine was there and I enjoyed a cup. Only sink was in the bathroom so I didn't like this aspect. Private spa is available for 30 mins via appointment only. Was relaxing. Service was fine.

Review:   I really enjoyed my stay here. Comfy room with a view over the lake. The buffet style breakfast was excellent with something for everyone.
