Overview

Unquestionably the best lakeside location in Queenstown, Crowne Plaza Queenstown has the resort township at its doorsteps.

The stylish and contemporary lakeview rooms give you full view of the awe-inspiring Remarkables mountain range and invigorating Lake Wakatipu. With the best of Queenstown's attractions so close and accessible, Crowne Plaza Queenstown is the best place to stay, play and meet whilst soaking up the scenery and atmosphere, and feeling utterly at home in luxurious and comfortable surroundings.

Amenities include leisure concierge, valet car parking, business centre, 24-hour room service, stunning lakeview meeting spaces, secure ski storage room, sauna and excellent bar and restaurant facilities. The layout of the hotel allows each room to maximise the privacy and use of its own individual balcony or direct access to the sunny courtyard.

Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Crowne Plaza is a 5 star hotel in Queenstown. The problem is it lacks many features you would expect from a 5 star hotel. For example - there is no pool or sauna or spa. These amenities can be found at a number of other hotels in Queenstown which aren’t 5 star. That said - the location of this hotel is absolutely amazing. If you have a lake view room the views can’t be beaten and even with the non lake view rooms the mountain view is great. The staff were helpful and friendly and the check in process was a quick affair. I just wish this place had a spa and sauna. Something that would be really good after a day of one of many Queenstown extreme activities!

Review:   Great views if lakeside room. Car park is small so arrive early is best. It's $17 a day for parking. There are 2 spaces at the front of the hotel for you to arrive. Concierge isn't very helpful and if you are looking for suggestions for places to go or any discount vouchers you're best to go somewhere else. Happy hour cocktails at $9 each are good in the 360 bar. Breakfast somewhere else is a good idea as there are so many options in Queenstown.

Review:   Fantastic location for this hotel. Very close, just a few minutes walk to all the action in town. Average rooms. 3.5 stars I would say. The views & location are the draw cards.
