Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   all good, relaxed and peaceful... though, the beach is bit dirty with tar balls from ships (мазут). also, the price is overkill. but in general I assume this is the best u can find on bintan island.

Review:   Very expensive, very standard room, toilet and shower not functioning even after we complained to the management, food was extremely expensive but below average (i suggest you bring food from outside). But the beach is awesome, very clean and quite, good for relaxing.

Review:   Definately beyond 5 stars! All perfect as expected from a Banyan Tree. Our number two after the BT in Vietnam. Everything and everyone is there to creat the perfect Zen. Even with our five year old we relaxed completely. He loved the pools, the beach, the playroom in Angsana and the food. We never have seen him eating that much. So every family member totally happy!

Review:   I really love the restaurants that they house, which is a short car ride away from Angsana Bintan (or actually even just a short 5-8 mins walk over). I especially loved the treetop restaurant, and their Indonesian food favourites. Can be a little pricey, but for the quality, the overall experience is really quite unparalleled.
