Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Very nice hotel, they provide almost everything that you need especially kitchenware. Also, it's very near to Lake Tekapo and Church of Good Shepherd, so it's easy to there both day and night time. The sky in the night here is very stunning. It's full of stars and if that day, the sky is clear, you can see the milky way also

Review:   Fantastic location right beside the lake with a lovely restaurant attached for those early morning getaways. Clean rooms, great and friendly staff however the parking can be quite tight as there are no allotted spaces. Highly recommend anyone going to Lake Tekapo to check out Peppers.

Review:   I’m still awake because of the noise of the heat pump going on every few minutes and it is so loud it rattles the windows! The concierge, GAN, said it is next doors u not making the noise. He even offered to move me but I didn’t want to leave my husband who is sleeping after a very long drive. To be honest I shouldn’t have to leave my husband to go to another room in the middle of the night. Peppers is overpriced and very noisy and I will not stay again. Please see other complaints about the same thing below.
