Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Stayed in 2 bedroom lake view suite. Great experience. Rooms good. View amazing. Lots of living space, biggest downside of place was single bathroom for 2 bedrooms. Restaurant at resort is quite good for dinner, breakfast not so much.

Review:   The rooms are extremely over priced. Paid around $200 a night for a room that barely fits a double bed. We had no space to walk around or place our luggage. Cups and spoons were dirty - not that there were any drinks to make. Throughout the night we could hear noises made by other guests in the floor above us. Staff was extremely rude, when we complained the next day saying that we should have told them about the noise. When we wanted to check out a day early the next morning they refused to refund the second night even though we had began to check out by 10am. All the staff could say to us was that she understands what we were going though without listening to what we were saying. Eventually we got to speak to the manager - after waiting for about 20 minutes she came out from her office where we saw her sitting around not doing much. Overall, would not recommend this place. For a place with their name, reputation and image, it was overall extremely disappointing and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Ever

Review:   My unit has 2 rooms with a nice living room upstairs. Walking distance to the beautiful Lake Takepo, watch the Church of Good Shepherd bathed under golden sunset.

Review:   This hotel was fantastic! Newly built for cold winter and we were well catered. It was warm and cozy with full kitchen with coffee machine, simple and elegant bath tube and decent tables and couches. Would love to stay for bit longer. By the way WiFi is 250 MB per device per day for free which was nice as well. Close to the SPA, Mt Cook and Salmon Farm, very convenient and well equipped.
