Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Best place to stay right on the beach. Duke's bar/restaurant downstairs. Right in the middle of everything. Just walk outside of your hotel and you have everything you need, especially right across the street the famous cheesecake factory, where you can get any type of food ever, and every type of cheesecake you could think of... A definite must do in Hawaii....

Review:   Exactly what we were looking for. Excellently located right in the city and right on beautiful beach. Last time we stayed at Outrigger on the Reef and found ourselves always walking down to this beach anyway because of how much nicer it is. This time we came straight here and added the advantage of a nice pool deck just steps from the ocean. The rooms are comfortable, and even our limited ocean view has a lovely balcony with a nice view. Bonus points to housekeeping for keeping up with the sand and dirt that inevitably gets in after beach and waterfall treks. And the biggest boon this place gets is it's partnership with Duke's restaurant, which we love.

Review:   It is a really nice and friendly hotel, but some smaller gripes. They are valet only and have no real area to load/unload and that was before the construction which now has pedestrians in the way. Their elevators are security minded but take a while. The pool is the size you would see in a normal backyard. Excellent location. Good size rooms. Nice stores downstairs.

Review:   We have stayed here 10 times over the years. We consider this our home when in Waikiki. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable and housekeeping is great. The view from the lanai on the ocean front and ocean view rooms is amazing. My only complaint is the elevators can be very frustrating, sometimes the wait is long.

Review:   Fantastic location in the heart of Waikiki with the famous Duke' s restaurant right in the lower lobby. Beachfront location. We had a room overlooking the city with slight beach view which was really noisy from the loud vents from local restaurants but amazing city views. Rooms need updating. Resort fee is a rip off. However, the staff are amazing. So welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay again and recommend it if you want central location and be surrounded by lots of people. It is busy there.
