Overview
Sama Al Wasil Camp is under the management of Desert Palm Camp. The Camp is located in a flat valley 192 km (2 hours drive) from Muscat in the heart of Sharquiya Sands. The camp is surrounded by dunes of varying heights that gives the camp the feeling of complete isolation from the outside world.
Accommodation consists of 10 ensuite chalets(2 rooms in each) and 10 separate rooms, all with generous outside patios. To add that something special, Sama Al Wasil Camp has created a number of facilities that will make your stay a bit more interesting than just a trip to the desert, which is in itself awe-inspiring and unforgettable.
Sama Al Wasil Camp is not only a place of leisure and relaxation, it is also a great corporate venue for seminars, lectures, merchandising or product launches. Whilst educational and research field trips can also be conducted using Sama Al Wasil Camp as a base.
Guests staying at Sama Al Wasil Camp will enjoy daily breakfast and dinner included in their room rate. Dinner varies each night but often includes barbecued meats and fish brought fresh each day from local markets. Lunch can also be provided on request. Eating under the stars is always a great experience with roaring camp fires and sheesha pipes at the ready for those who want them.
