Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   The room is about 500 sq ft, so enough for the small desk, king size bed, and to walk around the bed. If you have luggage, then get ready to stub your toes on it on the floor. While the room is modern, there are major problems with the design. The sliding bathroom door does little to block the bathroom light which ends up in your eyes if you’re trying to sleep. Also a nice crack between four and wall so you can see in if you’re into that kinda thing. The window to the patio also has wooden sliding doors with skates inside to act like a shield for the light, except they fail and let an absorbent of light into the room between the slates and each door (there are 3 doors to cover the window). To add to that, they are further rendered useless since the abundant amount of artificial light pointed at the hotel building itself (from the resort) also adds to the immense light shining into the room at night. Forget looking out at the ocean on a quiet dark peaceful night. The constant stream of passing cars from the highway parallel to the hotel is a great island sound. The rooms are clean and staff is friendly, but for what I paid to stay here, it’s not worth it.

Review:   If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... We LOVE this resort! We were here on our honeymoon over 18 years ago and just brought our daughters here this week! It’s even better than we remember! It’s beautiful, great location, very quiet and relaxing. Excellent food and service! We will be back!

Review:   This Condominium complex is right on the beach. The water is on one side, a beautiful mountain on the other. It's a short walk to town and the harbor for activities and restaurants. The Feast of Lele is right next door for a wonderful Luau experience, keep this in mind when booking if you prefer quiet evenings. The luau lasts until 9pm. These are the reasons we chose to stay here. Our unit was on the bottom so it wasn't very private. I would recommend an upper floor ( the complex has elevators). As for comfort, the bed and furniture was not as comfortable as I prefer. Staff was friendly.

Review:   This is a great hotel resort that's very affordable. Would recommend for a family trip. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Pro tip, grab drinks from the gift shop to take on the beach. The town is also pretty cool and has fun shopping and restaurants.
