You'll embark on a floatplane flight, explore downtown Victoria, visit the incomparable Butchart Gardens, and take a ferry ride during this fascinating, satisfying day. Start this full-day excursion with an incredible 35-minute floatplane flight to Vancouver Island, where the beautiful city of Victoria is located. Enjoy the stunning aerial views of Vancouver, the Gulf Islands, and Victoria Harbour. You will be flying on a commuter plane and the views are spectacular. Once you arrive, you will find yourself in the midst of Victoria's harbor. In the distance you can see the famous Empress Hotel. Prior to leaving Vancouver, a representative from the company will go over your map of Victoria and tell you things to do. You will also find out what time your transfer to Butchart Gardens will be and what the meeting point is. You'll have approximately 5 hours of free time to explore this quaint city by the sea, have some lunch on your own, and take in one of the varied local attractions such as the Royal British Columbia Museum, Maritime Museum of BC, Miniature World, Bug Zoo, or the Wax Museum. This accessible city is easy to walk and lovely to see. From downtown Victoria, you'll enjoy a 30-minute pastoral drive through the countryside on the way to the famous Butchart Gardens. Spread across 55 acres, the Butchart Gardens are truly a sight to be seen. You'll find spectacular views as you stroll along meandering paths and expansive lawns. From the exquisite Sunken Garden to the charming Rose Garden, you'll be amazed at this incredible display of flowering plants all year long. You'll have about 1.5 hours to enjoy the gardens before making the return trip, via ferry, to Vancouver. - This tour only offers a pickup from a Downtown Vancouver or Richmond area hotel. - Admission to Butchart Gardens is included in the price of this tour. - Bring everything you need for a day of touring...comfortable shoes, sunglasses, hat, and camera. - Full restaurant facilities are available on board the ferry. - This tour is available from May 1-September 30. - Food, drinks, and gratuities are not included in the price of this tour.
