Review:   Had staff christmas do here in the great hall. Wonderful medieval style room - lots of character. Service was always friendly and helpful. Buffet was delicious, especially the smoked salmon and the Indian curry. Has parking lot and lots of free on street parking nearby.

Review:   Went to the Sue Nicholson show on Friday. Decided to go early for a drink and meal. Got our first drink then ordered our meal. Before our meal arrived I ordered 2 cocktails at 6pm. Was told they would bring them when ready. 40 minutes later, our meal nearly finished, we got our first cocktail. We were told we would get a refund for the delay and an apology. Also she had 2 customers to serve and then she will bring the second cocktail. We got sick of waiting after 15 minutes. Went up for the refund and the second cocktail. People were being served before us. We asked how long because the show starts at 7. We were told that they would bring the drink to us in the break st 8.30pm. Not good enough and not fair. Way too long to wait. Highly disappointed.

Review:   Disappointed with the menu as was looking forward to Wagyu Steak & Beef Cheeks as advertised on website but all in all, tasty salads with calamari, although calamari was thin but ok. Salmon and Blue Cod deliciously cooked. Cheese board was good, cheesecake also good. Service friendly enough. Atmosphere comfortable and decor could do with an update. Pleasant evening.

Review:   The service at this hotel is great but it is unfortunately very noisy from external sounds like tv's, music and entertainment. Having a quiet and peaceful stay is important to me so that's why I've given it a low rating.

Review:   Meal was delicious. Waiting for an hour to eat not good. Waitress unable to deal with people shifting places. No tea or coffee offered but was part of the $31 lunch deal.
