OverviewEnjoy this very vibrant and cosmopolitan city. Enjoy this capital city, the center of political, economic and intellectual life of the country. You will be picked up at the airport or cruise ship by your private vehicle, and then away you go! Depart for this half day city tour through fascinating Buenos Aires, and get in direct touch with the town where the Tango was born. Begin on Avenida de Mayo and the Plaza de Mayo, surrounded by the Casa Rosada (Government House), the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Cabildo, the first City Hall, built during Spanish rule). At the other end of Avenida de Mayo you will find the Congress building, and then continue to San Telmo, the best kept historical neighborhood and eldest district of Buenos Aires (no stop). Your next stop is La Boca, a most colorful area. At the famous street Caminito you will fine painters, often offering their Tango pictures. Pass Colon Theatre, one of the world's best known opera houses and the cultural pride of the "porteños" (as the inhabitants of Buenos Aires are commonly called), and continue to Palermo with its beautiful parks, the City Zoo, Botanical Garden, Argentine Horsetrack, and National Polo Fields. Your final stop will be the Recoleta area, one of the city's most glamorous spots. In the cemetery of Recoleta - the center of this aristocratic district - you will find the grave of Eva Duarte, who became famous as Eva Perón (Evita). You will also find the Municipal Cultural Center, elegant boutiques, and excellent restaurants, surrounded by centennial trees. - At the time of booking, you will be prompted to indicate your pickup and drop-off locations. - You are allowed 2 pieces of luggage and a carry-on per person. - The order of the tour may change according to the day of the service. - Food, beverages, gratuities are not included in this tour.
