Bathed by the waters of the Caribbean Sea, the Grand Hotel Bávaro stands tall and has become an ideal destination for adult tourists seeking luxury vacations, a memorable celebration, or a few special working days in the Dominican Republic. Be swept away by the elegance of this 'All-inclusive' resort.
Overview
On the mythical Bávaro de Punta Cana Beach, in the Dominican Republic, a spectacular 5-star hotel has been built, belonging to the exclusive Iberostar Grand Collection hotel chain; an "all-inclusive" resort & spa with personalized services in fantastic facilities: the Grand Hotel Bávaro.
The excellent, personalized service offered by the Iberostar Grand Hotel Bávaro includes check-in with a moist towel and a welcome drink; an evening cocktail; newspaper delivery and shoe shine service; beachside and poolside concierge service, sunbathing products and reading material.
With the All inclusive plan offered by Iberostar's Grand Bávaro, you can enjoy a comfortable room, with full board, including delicious meals at the à la carte restaurants and buffets, plus beverages including prestigious brand name liquors and sodas. You'll also have deluxe room service and a butler.
The warm and welcoming atmosphere of Grand Hotel Bávaro offers 272 suites: 12 grand suites at the seaside, 19 suites with direct access to the pool from their terraces (swim out suites) and 241 suites with views out onto the sea or the garden. Each of the rooms offers two full beds or a 'king size' bed, jacuzzis for two in the room; marble baths; exquisite linens, a pillow menu, as well as all those little details to meet our customers needs (coffee maker, safe box, Satellite LCD TV, DVD player, iPod/MP3 player base, Wi-Fi, etc.); and a mini-bar stocked to your liking.
Since Iberostar applies an 'all-inclusive' concept at its super luxury hotels, a varied and exceptional cuisine is of course part of that. With four à la carte restaurants, another on the beachfront, and an international buffet, the chefs on the hotel grounds offer a menu that lets you select from the most elaborate Japanese, Italian, French, or American cuisines, or try a selection of the finest and most well-balanced international cuisine, accompanied with a fine selection of wines, beers, and liquors.
With its design inspired by Greco-Roman Architecture, the Gran Bávaro de Punta Cana hotel is itself a revelation for the senses; in its salons, as well as in its gardens and rooms, the utmost care has been taken with every detail in matters of decoration. In a fascinating combination of materials and styles, wood, granite, plants, and water come together to create a highly welcoming environment with lots of class.
The tourist destination par excellence, this precious jewel is called 'aquamarine,' a name that comes from the Dominican sea's infinite color. Off the east of the island, the Caribbean breezes cool the white sands of the famous Punta Cana Beaches, as its palms fan the natural beauty of the surroundings day and night. There, hidden within this paradise, is this jewel of the IBEROSTAR grand collection.
If you'd like to purchase a souvenir, some local artisan craftwork, a book, a newspaper, gifts, or personal articles, there's no need to leave the grounds, since right at the hotel there is a well stocked shopping area to solve your problems and make your life easy.

Recommended for: Top Notch.
Pros: Elegant without being stuffy, classic with modern touches, for the discerning client looking for quality. Iberostar Grand hits the mark. I love this property. It's stunning. The décor is eclectic European, custom created by a Spanish designer. No cookie cutter here. From eclectic lights to the massive restaurant doors, unusual statues to the one of kind sail ship in the courtyard... there is no other like Iberostar Grand Bavaro. I visited 15 resorts in the Dr and hands down, the best meal I had, and many were very good, but the very best I had was here at the Grand. Be sure to enjoy your cocktails by the grand piano at the lobby or go Inside the ship to a tucked away night club! Remember that if you're staying at the Grand, you have access to all of the Iberostar properties and may use the dine around program or sit in on their entertainment. A great perk for those looking to add a little liveliness to peacefulness of the Grand. Cons: The only downside is you still have to make dinner reservations for the a la carte restaurants. Plan ahead and you can avoid this issues. |
