Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   The views from this small resort are truly beautiful. I've heard places say they want you to feel like part of the family before, but this is the first place where it seemed like they actually meant it. It's small enough that you get to know the other guests and feel like you're in an even bigger family. There are plenty of activities, though you can also just lay by the pool or beach and do nothing. The spa was wonderful. We didn't love the bures, because it was too hot and muggy for us to be in them without air conditioning, which required all the shutters to be closed; it wasn't too bad, though, because we didn't spend a ton of time there. The kitchen made wonderful food and the drinks were unique and delicious every night. We will be back. It's just a matter of how long will it take us to save up and fly back.

Review:   Nice and quiet resort. Not too many villas means not to many people. The pool is huge with a lovely outlook over looking the sea. Staff are friendly and helpful. The food is great. If you're not happy with the food the chef will go out of his way to make sure all is well. I would recommend buying the food package. Individual items on the menu is expensive. Normal for fiji.

Review:   I would rather be a castaway than stay here. There is probably more chance of getting a glass of water on a deserted island than this place. It is hard to find anybody for service . With so much competition from surrounding resorts there were guests getting on their kayaks and getting lunch at the next resort. We have caught onto this and will be on the first kayak out tomorrow. Tom Hanks didn’t have it that tough as I’m now looking for soccer ball to call ‘Wilson’

Review:   We travel to Fiji most years and have stayed at Mana Shangri la Sonsali Paradise Cove and we think Tropica Resort is the nicest and so special. We love that it is in a sheltered bay so no wind and calm waters to snorkel. Beautiful beach bures with our own plunge pool. Paradise just as nice aswell but was to windy We love the smaller peaceful tranquil resorts and this one in particular is just so relaxing with impeccable service excellent menu choice and the dining 5 star quality. The staff helpful and friendly very welcoming. Will definitely choose again in future. Thankyou for a wonderful holiday.
