Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   What an experience. My wife and I chose Turks & caicos for our anniversary trip and couldn't be happier. The folks here are the kindest and most friendly we have seen. The resort is amazing with so much to do. The room was spectacular as well the bed (what). We plan to go back again real soon as we made so many new friends there. What a great place to visit. Review:   Great company. I had to cancel because my wife wasn’t feeling well. They canceled the booking with no problems.

Review:   It's a dated resort with dated rooms. I paid for a beachfront room and they tried to put me on the first floor looking out at a hugh sand dune so I had to complain to be moved. Once they moved us we were told that the elevator was broken so we had to go up and down 8 flight of stairs the whole time. The food was terrible. For the money we paid I expected a 5 star resort and this is a two star resort at best. Save yourself and go somewhere else.

Review:   Enjoyed my stay more due to the people who were there. Staff was a little on the lacking side and were always understaffed at the wrong times and then overstaffed at others. Service at dinner took forever but was tasty when it finally came. Beach and watersports were good though!

Review:   Since I last visited 4 years ago, they changed to an all inclusive resort. I wish they hadn't. While the suites and the beach are still spectacular, the quality of the food (mostly buffet or the same limited menu that never changes) has declined greatly. If you drink alcohol, prepared to be disappointed. Top shelf doesn't exist at this place and they only offer a local beer in a can and an occasional Coors Light. For what I paid I was in shock. And whatever you do, do NOT opt for the romantic beach dinner. You'll pay $285 to eat on the beach. The menu is exactly the same. Complete rip off. I love Turks and Caicos and the Alexandra is a beautiful resort, but the new all inclusive model is simply not worth the money. Very dissatisfied.
