Overview
Paradise On The Beach is in the heart of Palm Cove Village right on the beachfront opposite the lifeguard patrolled swimming enclosure. Palm Cove's renowned restaurants, spas and shops are just a short stroll along the shady esplanade.
Palm Cove is just 25 minutes north of Cairns and the international airport and is ideally located to conveniently access all of the region's outstanding attractions including the Great Barrier Reef, Daintree Rainforests, Skyrail and Kuranda.
The 'Cove' as the locals call it, is regarded as Cairns's premier beach destination for good reason. The beach itself is a picture-perfect seascape of offshore islands and reefs framed by coconut palms and towering melaleuca trees. Behind the village to the west, the World Heritage listed rainforest-clad escarpment rises steeply to the Cairns Highlands, providing the perfect backdrop to an idyllic tropical beach setting.
As well as the natural beauty, there are numerous local attractions and excursions including guided kayaking to nearby Double Island, a wildlife nature park, golf and tennis.
