Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Friendly helpful staff. The rooms are of a fair standard for a 4 star hotel. A very good location with a short stroll up to Hyde Park to get a train or walk further on into the city. Parking is available under the hotel for guests at a reasonable day rate although at the time of current stay a lot of parking was unavailable due to maintenance work. Simple to get to the hotel driving with it just off the motorway city exit. This is our third stay here and will happily stay again the next time we need to stay near th ed city.

Review:   Was there for a couple day conference and the only thing that let the place down is the weird layout, although that's not really a star losing attribute. The conference rooms were decent sized and clean, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was pretty good and there was a large selection. It's on a strange location but nothing wrong with that, let's you explore a part of town you probably wouldn't normally. Didn't see any rooms so can't comment.

Review:   We stayed during our Sydney visit for four nights. All in all the hotel has a good standard and a fantastic view on the skyline or the OPERA house (if you book the respective category). Even though the rooms are really big, our room was a kind of used and definitely needs to be modernized soon. Especially the bathroom was kind of a hostel standard only. Breakfast was okay but also no highlight. All employees we hat contact with were really courteous.

Review:   Very nice hotel. It's very clean and the rooms are nice. The room I stayed in (1810) has a connecting door that leads to the room next to it and I wouldn't say it blocks out noise all that much.

Review:   Great view of the harbour. Staff are very very polite and helpful. Stayed here a couple of times already and experience has always been great. Never tried the buffet breakfast because the $7 breakfast at the cafe was enough for me.
