This tour includes: - Round trip transportation from the cruise ship pier
- 30 minute safety briefing and practice on the water
- 60 minute Yacht race and instructional
- 30 minute sightseeing cruise
- Celebratory rum punch at the dockyard
Everywhere you go in the Caribbean you are bound to come across your average sail and snorkel. This isn't it. Get on board a mega yacht and get the inside scoop on one of the most intriguing water based sports in the world.
After your pick up at the pier and a safety briefing you will join a "racing team" for your in depth look at the yacht racing process. The less adventurous can sit back and relax where those eager to participate can assist the experienced crew as you weave through the beautiful waters of Antigua. From tacking to grinding winches you will receive a crash course on all things that go into this unique sport. Once everyone has an understanding of how these boats are handled the race will begin with time at the end for you to take the helm!
The tour will conclude at the dockyard where you will enjoy some celebratory rum punch on a private platform overlooking the coast.
- We recommend you bring sunglasses and sunscreen.
- This tour requires a minimum of 4 travelers.
- There is a maximum of 8 passengers on each boat.
- This tour is not wheelchair accessible.
- All travelers will be provided with a life jacket.
- You must be 12 years or older to participate.
