Overview
Why not? And it's a bargain!
You can enjoy your favorite sport and still have some free time afterward to walk the cobblestone streets of Old Tallinn.
Niitvälja Golf is the oldest 18-hole course in the Baltic states and is considered one of the top 10 courses in the Scandinavian region.
Completed in 1994, Niitvälja was the only 18-hole course in the Baltics during the 1990s, and, as such, the name has become synonymous with golf in Estonia. Today, the course is highly rated among both local and foreign players.
Half of the course is located between forests, but many holes are in the open, where there is plenty of space for open hits. Several ponds, bunkers, and prevalent strong winds make for additional challenges.
The practice area of Niitvälja is among the largest in Europe, consisting of three putting, two chipping, and two pitching greens; five bunkers, a 15-place turf range, a 30-place driving range, and a nine-hole natural mini-golf.
Niitvälja has all of the necessary facilities to host invitational or open golf tournaments and customer events. The club house accommodates a restaurant seating 70-80, a Pro Shop, dressing rooms, and saunas.
- You can rent your equipment when you arrive for €20. The golf club only accepts VISA credit card or Euros in cash.
- Your green fees include locker, bath towel, and sauna.
- The course opens in April and stays open until the end of October.
