Never been to Stockholm before? Check out this new tour...you'll be an expert by the time you leave!
On this fun 6-hour tour, you'll get a taste of the best spots in Stockholm!
To get started, we'll make our way to a favorite panoramic viewpoint, Fjällgatan, located on the largest of Stockholm’s 14 islands.
Next, we'll go across the Västerbron bridge, all the way out to Kungsholmen Island. Enjoy another gorgeous view, this time an incredible skyline with magnificent sights and a massive lake!
We'll also see City Hall, known locally as Stadshuset and renowned for its architecture, murals, and as the site of the Nobel Prize Banquet. Completed in 1923, the main features are the two courtyards and the numerous splendid halls, the most famous of these being the Blue Hall, where the Nobel festivities unfold each year, and the Golden Hall, renowned for its mosaics.
The tour continues through the commercial parts of the city before you arrive in the famous Old Town, where the history of Stockholm began almost 800 years ago. Make your way to the Royal Palace, the official residence of his Majesty Carl XVI Gustaf.
After the palace, we'll go on a short walk on the cobblestone streets of Old Town, followed by free time and the possibility to see the changing of the guards or enjoy a lunch break in one of the quaint restaurants at the main square, Stortorget.
Finally, we'll visit the Vasa Museum, where your guide will point out the most intriguing details before you have time to browse the museum on your own.
Later, you'll be returned to the cruise ship pier or your hotel.
