This harbor is perfect for a race between friends.

This awesome activity is one we try to offer wherever we can. Here, in Newport, we can do so and offer you the largest fleet of America’s Cup winners in the world.

Once you get a glimpse of the harbor in Newport, you'll yearn to be on the water. This particular experience, the staging of your own "Cup Regatta," is the perfect way to understand the pull of these waters for so many sailors.

If you're an avid sailor, you'll love this from start to finish--maneuvering the boat to rounding the marks in your quest to win the race. As a race, it is competitive, interactive, and fun. From the moment you help raise the 95' main sail, you'll feel the adrenaline flowing, and you'll surely never forget your day of sailing on scenic Narragansett Bay.

If you've always dreamed of sailing, but have never had the chance, you can also enjoy this adventure. You don't need any sailing experience, nor are you required to participate in the sail. If you wish, you can just enjoy your time aboard a historic yacht and watch the others work!

Your crew will use the engines to bring you into the Inner Harbor, while those who are interested will be assigned tasks for the race. There is never rough water in this area, so you should expect no sea sickness, just lots of fun.

- No experience is necessary in order to take this excursion.
- Please be on the dock 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure.
- If you wish to have refreshments on board, please contact ShoreTrips for options and pricing.
