OverviewTravel to the chic resort town of Taormina for an authentic cooking lesson in a private home. This tour will take you to Taormina, where you will enjoy an authentic cooking lesson in a private house. Located high on a mountaintop overlooking the harbor, the town is known for its wonderful scenery as well as its position as one of Sicily's chicest resort towns. When you arrive, you will be taken to a private home for an authentic cooking lesson, taught by the owner of the house. You will make a first course, second course, and dessert - all typical Sicilian dishes! - and then get the chance to enjoy your creations in a great lunch. The lesson itself will take about an hour. Afterwards, take some time to look around Taormina with your guide. Don't miss the Teatro Greco, the most impressive monument of the city. Built in the 3rd-century BC, the Teatro is still used today for open-air concerts. Then just enjoy this gorgeous town's romantic atmosphere, home to plenty of excellent bars, shopping, and plazas to relax and enjoy a cappuccino. It is a 2 hour drive from Messina to Taormina. Please contact us if you have more than 4 people in your party. If the private house is not available for the cooking lesson, it will be done in a typical Sicilian restaurant with a real chef.
