The view from a bubble-topped sailplane is out of this world.
High above Oahu's famous North Shore is where you'll find Hawaii’s oldest and largest soaring operation. Take a ride with one of our million-mile pilots and watch the breathtaking beauty of the island unfold below...
If you plan to spend a day touring Oahu's North Shore, you'll want to include this exhilarating activity. You'll silently soar high over the island and take in panoramic views of the dramatic coast and its brilliant coral pools; the patchwork of taro, coffee, and alfalfa fields; cattle grazing lazily; the windsurfers at Mokuleia; and, during the winter months, humpback whales.
This is a 20-minute flight in a high performance sailplane that can accommodate one or two passengers PLUS the pilot. You may take the ride as a single or as a couple. Single passengers have the option of taking the controls with guidance from the pilot (extra cost). No flying experience is necessary.
For the really adventurous, you can also include 7-10 minutes of aerial acrobatics. Complete with parachutes, you'll climb into the cockpit alongside an experienced acrobatic pilot and take a look at the world from a whole new perspective--upside down! This option is available for single passenger riders with a maximum weight of 220 pounds.
- Single Passengers: You cannot weigh more than 265 pounds and you must han 6'5" if you are taking a single ride.
