Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Nice hotel very comfortable. Facilities as one would expect. Outdoor pools are heated from the volcanic springs some nice and warm. Put on a nice Maori show to demonstrate local culture. This hotel is quite some way from the town centre and has NO complimentary bus!

Review:   Nice welcome with a fresh orange juice but we were on a coach tour. Large rooms but no air conditioning just a fan, bathroom towels a bit on the small side. Adequate breakfast but nothing outstanding fruit was fresh, usual cooked. However it was very busy I think there were about 3 coach parties staying here. Good location for the town centre & the Maori historic sites probably within walking distance.

Review:   We got upgraded to a suit and the room is amazing. The best part is its hot pool and sauna. No need to go to the spa, just relax all day in the pool.
