Guided Queluz, Sintra And The Estoril CoastExplore > Portugal > Lisbon > Guided Queluz, Sintra And The Estoril CoastOverviewIt can be said that if you come to Lisbon, it is mandatory to visit Sintra and Estoril's Coast! Estoril Coast will always be remembered as a charming place, with its famous beaches and the pretty towns of Estoril and Cascais. The town of Sintra and its natural surroundings are classified by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site! This tour will take you on a full-day journey exploring the best Portuguese royal residences with the relaxing views of the Portuguese seaside. The first stop will be in Queluz to visit the Queluz National Palace. This palace represents the extravagant life of the Portuguese royalty in the 18th century in an incredible rococo structure surrounded by beautiful gardens. After a detailed visit to the Palace, it will be time for you to continue to the World Heritage Site of Sintra where hundreds of years of history and culture await you. Doing a short walk in the old city center you'll find yourself surrounded by the old houses now converted into small quaint handicraft shops and traditional pastry shops. Driving around the mountain you will pass by amazing Royal Palaces, Chalets and Aristocratic residences in the most incredible combination of architectural styles, colors, and shapes that you will find in Portugal. After a nice lunch break (meal not included) in one of the many traditional restaurants in and browsing through hundreds of years of history it will be time to relax by driving to the town of Cascais. Once a small fishing village only, the town of Cascais managed to maintain its seafaring traditions combined with the aristocratic and royal presences of the late 19th and beginning of the 20th century. Walking by its animated town center you'll find the cosmopolitan life side by side with the Atlantic. The return to Lisbon will follow a very special road named "Marginal" by the Portuguese running always parallel to the white sandy beaches and amazing 17th-century fortresses starting at the town of Estoril with its famous casino. - Cruise ship passengers will be met at the cruise terminal by a representative of the tour company, who will then escort you to your touring vehicle, about a 5-10 minute walk from the pier. Hotel guests will be picked up at their hotel. - If a licensed guide is not important to your experience, please refer to our list of tours to book this tour with an English speaking driver. - Admissions, food, and beverages are NOTincluded in the price of this tour. - Please note: You will be charged an additional supplement for tours taking place on the weekend (Saturday, Sunday) or holidays.
