Your English-speaking driver will pick you up from the cruise ship pier in a luxury vehicle, and your journey through the best of lovely "Lisboa" will begin. Take in the 16th century St. Jeronimos Monastery, and the Belem Tower, and St. George's Castle.
Next you are on to Sintra, where you will follow the Estoril and Cascais coastline. Stop for lunch at a lovely place by the sea (on your own) - perhaps the Michelin star Fortaleza do Guincho – Relais & Châteaux restaurant, where the view from your table will enhance their exquisite recipes.
Your next stop will be the quaint and aristocratic town of Sintra, the town that Lord Byron considered to be "Paradise in Earth." Your afternoon will be full of castles and lovely walks, with the highlight as the Pena Palace, one of Portugal's most peculiar and beautiful palaces.
Your experience will end at a regional and rustic bar facing the main square, where you will be treated to a wine tasting paired with regional cheese and homemade regional sausages.
The price of this tour includes all transportation, a great English-speaking driver, and wine tasting and snacks at the end of the day. Lunch is not included in the price.
