Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Close to everything. I stayed with my family a couple of weeks ago. The staff were so professional, accommodating and always greeted me with a smile. We arrived prior to the allocated check-in time, and as a room was available we were able to get into our room sooner (The room was lovely and tidy). After a 12 hour day sight seeing we decided to get Room Service. The person that took our order was loving and the food was delivered in a speedy time frame. We will only stay at Travelodge Wynyard

Review:   Since arriving on the friday myself and my wife found the front desk administration was very pleasant and helpful, which make you feel welcome to the establishment. The hospitality from the kitchen and the dining staff was excellent. When called reception about something they make sure that you will have the information/thing you ask for within 15 minutes of you calling to you at your room. The room was amazing and everyday coming back from sight seeing the room was made if you walked in the first time.

Review:   A pleasant stay. Friendly staff. Room was modern but bathroom looked a little shabby and the fan didn't work. Windows let in a lot of noise for the 11th floor. Other than that it has a great location just down from the train station.

Review:   The hotel is a bit tired but for the price per a day its great. Only 10 minute walk to the harbour, it's great if you're on a budget. For $19 a late night pizza after a night out isn't too bad. Though if it's before midnight I think the dominos down the road would do you well.

Review:   Room's nice enough, bathroom is tiny but the noise is unbelievable. Buses and construction noises well into the night only to be woken at 6.30am by extremely noisy (and bad) music coming from outside somewhere. Location is great.
