Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Recently stayed here for two nights on the 6th floor in a room with views to the West. Clean, comfortable room. Great shower. Buffet breakfast is top quality and very tasty. Only downside was visible dust in the wardrobe and air conditioning vents and some average quality repairs throughout the room, if they were not an issue it would have been 5*.

Review:   The Darling Harbour IBIS Hotel is fantastic near to a walk-over bridge to 'inner town' facilities. I choose high up superior rooms overlooking the harbour water. Fabulous in both day and night times. The rooms are very clean, spacious, wide Queen beds, great restaurant views. Most importantly.....Absolutely, fantastically fabulous staff!! James Latta

Review:   It's at a nice and convenient location just next to the Darling harbour. I was in a room on the first level and the view was good. The breakfast was great for a small hotel. My sleep was broken once due to noise. I think it was from the level below which was where the breakfast was setup. The rooms are small but not too small. Overall I had a great experience

Review:   Room was very small and run down. Taps and shower leaked. Hotel felt like it needed a full refurbishment. On the positive side, the staff were excellent. Very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was very generous for the price.
