Google Reviews

About Google Reviews: recently Google has converted their review system to require reviewers to have a proper, identifiable Google+ profile. This is a good thing, as it tends to cut down on bad reviews, both from people unwilling to stand behind their comments and fake positive reviews from the businesses themselves. Old, pre-Google+ reviews are still in the system, and will appear below as written by "A Google User". More info from Google is here.

Review:   Really impressed with this hotel. Small room but it packed a punch in a good way. Re-vamped room cleverly designed to maximize the space. Great views over Darling Harbour. When we booked ahead we advised that it was a special anniversary celebration - to our delight we had a bottle of bubbles and a fabulous cheese platter waiting for us. The bed was made daily and clean fresh towels supplied. TAnd the bed was very comfortable, pillows soft and comfy. Accidentally broke the two wine glasses and were not charged. We also enjoyed a lovely breakfast (great value for $15) . Staff were most helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay at Ibis Darling Harbour again. Thanks guys we had a great time!!!

Review:   What a surprise package. A reasonably priced hotel in Sydney that is relatively modern clean and comfortable. I didn’t think it possible. Pay a little more for city/harbour views and you’ll see what I mean. Bathroom is a little tight and the basin tap is a dribble but hey... you can’t have everything unless you pay top dollar. I’m writing this whilst still here so hopefully they don’t do anything to disappoint

Review:   Just went and had a look at the view of the city. Saw there was a nice bar overlooking the view. Will have to go back.

Review:   Recently stayed here for two nights on the 6th floor in a room with views to the West. Clean, comfortable room. Great shower. Buffet breakfast is top quality and very tasty. Only downside was visible dust in the wardrobe and air conditioning vents and some average quality repairs throughout the room, if they were not an issue it would have been 5*.
