See the Mazatlan countryside and be adventurous all in this one excursion!
This isn't just a regular zipline tour. Aside from the zipline, you'll also get to go on a lovely scenic drive (in an all terrain vehicle!) to the outskirts of Mazatlan, learn about the flora and fauna of the area and even visit a local distillery!

We'll travel about 45 minutes outside of the city of Mazatlan to the foothills of the Sierra Madre mountains. Here you will enjoy your zipline canopy adventure near the village of La Noria.
The zipline portion of the tour consists of twelve platforms mounted in the trees and hilltops of the semi-desert tropical forest.
We'll provide you with a safety briefing before we get started. Once we're ready to go, you'll zip from platform to platform by means of nine horizontal traverses, a nature walk, a flexible, elevated walkway and even a vertical descent. This tour is all about adventure!
After completing the Canopy Adventure participants will enjoy a tour of the Los Osuna Blue Agave Distillery.

Transfers to the zipline park are included, but you must take a 30 minute taxi to the pick up point for the tour. Please allow yourself ample time to get there from the cruise ship terminal. The taxi should cost about $10-$15 per taxi, one way. The taxi is about 25-30 minutes long, and you must check in 15 minutes prior to the departure time. This means you need to be in your taxi a minimum of 45 minutes prior to the departure time listed on your voucher. After the tour the manager will bring you back to your pier if you have arrived by cruise ship.
If you are staying at a hotel, you will be picked up at your hotel lobby.
Wear comfortable, light clothing you don't mind getting a little bit dirty and will not interfere with the adjustment of the harness or helmet. Most of our guests do the tour in a t-shirt, longer shorts and tennis shoes. Do not wear sandals, skirts or dresses. Please refrain from wearing perfume or other floral scented products (it attracts insects, particularly bees).
It's a good idea to bring some extra cash in case you want to make souvenir purchases. Drinking water is provided on the tour. You will have the option to purchase photos/video of your zipline experience, so a camera is not necessary (only if you want, but it is difficult to zipline with a camera. In fact, we do not recommend it as we are not responsible for any damage to your valuables).
There is a place to store any valuables securely when you're on the tour, but we do recommend that you try to pack lightly.
Please note that in Mazatlan there is some confusion about ship time vs local time. Please see your purser on your ship to clarify whether your ship changes its time to local time so you do not miss your excursion. As each ship is ruled by its captain, it is your responsibility to confirm this while while you are sailing.
Please Note: If you choose to purchase the observer option, you will accompany your friends to the zipline park. This does not mean that you will see every aspect of their ziplining tour. Depending on the particular zipline park's layout, you may or may not be able to see them ziplining.
Do not drink alcohol before the tour.
Minimum age is 9 years old. Children 16 and under must be accompanied by a participating adult.
Maximum weight is 275 pounds.
You will be standing on a platform that is approximately 5 stories high. Do not book this tour if you have or think you might get dizzy, anxious, or have a fear of heights. You must be able to walk 15 minutes uphill and climb a 20 foot ladder unassisted.
This tour is not recommended for people with heart problems, epilepsy, balance problems, asthma, back/neck/shoulder problems or women who are pregnant. You may not participate in this excursion if you are pregnant, have heart conditions, are afraid of heights, experience vertigo, anxiety, and/or any other physical condition. You must be in good physical condition to take zipline / canopy tours.
